Dedicated to advocacy, leadership and elevating the profession, the 2025 Illinois REALTORS® leadership team brings a depth of experience and a shared passion for service across the state. Representing diverse markets and career paths, the group includes President Tommy Choi, President-Elect Jeff Kolbus, Treasurer Debbie Prodehl and Immediate Past President Matt Silver.

Choi, co-founder and owner of Weinberg Choi Residential at Keller Williams ONEChicago, made history as the association’s first Asian and first Korean American president. A Chicago-based REALTOR® since 2007, he is widely recognized for his leadership at the local, state and national levels. Kolbus, president of RE/MAX Traders Unlimited in Peoria, has been a REALTOR® since 1994. He is known for his expertise in policy and legislative issues, as well as his community service and volunteerism throughout central Illinois.

Prodehl, a broker-owner and director of risk management with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin, brings more than three decades of experience, with a strong focus on compliance, agent training and multistate leadership. Silver, a partner and senior broker with Corcoran Urban Real Estate in Chicago, led the state association in 2024. His dedication to advocacy and furthering the industry continues to shape conversations at every level.

The team’s business style is collaborative, solution-focused and deeply engaged in shaping the future of the real estate industry. Each leader has contributed significantly to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), and all have been inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame.

Beyond their professional roles, they are mentors, volunteers and advocates committed to community impact — from youth engagement to affordable and fair housing policy. Together, they represent a forward-thinking leadership team focused on progress, representation and results for REALTORS® statewide.
