The Chicago Association of REALTORS® is led by a dynamic team of working real estate professionals who bring firsthand knowledge of the Chicago market to every decision they make. This volunteer leadership team, alongside a dedicated staff, led by the CEO, ensures that the organization delivers on its promise to support, protect and elevate the real estate profession in Chicago.
In the past year, this leadership has guided the Association through industrywide change with a focus on preparation, advocacy and inclusivity. From expanding free, on-demand education to rolling out critical business tools and contract updates, the Association continues to equip its members with what they need to succeed in a competitive, fast-moving market.
Notably, this team helped lead efforts to defeat a proposed property tax increase in the city of Chicago’s 2025 budget and advocated for key amendments to the Northwest Side Preservation Ordinance — clear examples of the Association’s commitment to protecting the industry and promoting housing opportunity. These wins demonstrate that the Association is the “Voice for Real Estate” in Chicago and safeguards the interests of REALTORS® and property owners alike.
Under the guidance of this REALTOR®/staff partnership, the Association also advanced initiatives that reflect the diversity of its membership. The first Spanish-language Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation course was hosted this year, with more language-accessible offerings in development.
With over 70 annual events that engage more than 8,500 members, the Association continues to foster connection, collaboration and a sense of community among real estate professionals.
