You agree that Agent Publishing and its Affiliates shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension or discontinuance of our site. In addition, we reserve the right to terminate your access to our site for any reason, and to take any other actions that Agent Publishing and its Affiliates, in its sole discretion, believes to be in the interest of our company and of our users as a whole.
2. We Have All Rights In Our Site and Content; You Grant Us Certain Rights When You Submit Content to Us:

By submitting an article for publication, Contributor agrees to the following:
1. Original Content
Contributor represents that the submitted article is original and created by the Contributor, or that Contributor has obtained all necessary rights and permissions to use any third-party content, including quotations, photographs, charts, graphics, or other copyrighted material.
2. Accuracy of Information
Contributor represents that the factual statements contained in the article are accurate to the best of their knowledge and that reasonable efforts have been made to verify any statistics, quotations, research, or legal or financial information. Contributor understands that opinions expressed are solely those of the Contributor.
3. Compliance with Law
Contributor represents that the submission: Does not contain defamatory or knowingly false statements; Does not violate any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights of any person or entity; Does not disclose confidential or proprietary information without authorization; Complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
4. Editorial Review
Publisher may edit the submission for grammar, clarity, style, formatting, length, legal concerns, and consistency with editorial standards. Publisher may request revisions prior to publication. Publisher may decline to publish, postpone publication, or remove any article at its sole discretion.
5. Publication Rights
Contributor retains ownership of the article. Contributor grants Agent Publishing LLC a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to: Publish the article in print and digital editions Edit the article consistent with or style and editorial standards Archive the article; Republish or distribute the article in newsletters, email communications, social media, podcasts, or future publications; Promote the article and Contributor in connection with Agent Publishing properties. No compensation is due unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Editorial Independence
Publication decisions are made solely by Agent Publishing.
Advertising, sponsorships, event participation, or participation in any paid program offered by Agent Publishing LLC do not guarantee publication and do not influence editorial decisions.
7. Author Attribution
Publisher may publish Contributor’s: Name, professional title, company name, biography, professional headshot, website or professional social media links unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Author Responsibility
Contributor acknowledges that the article represents the Contributor’s own opinions and expertise. Contributor is solely responsible for the content of the submission, including all opinions, factual statements, citations, and conclusions.
9. Hold Harmless and Indemnification
Contributor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Agent Publishing LLC, Chicago Agent Magazine, and their owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, editors, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, lawsuits, liabilities, damages, judgments, settlements, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to: the content of the submission; any alleged factual inaccuracies; claims of defamation or libel; copyright or trademark infringement; invasion of privacy or publicity rights; unauthorized use of third-party materials; or any breach of this Agreement by Contributor.
10. Opinion Disclaimer
Contributor understands that published articles are opinion pieces.
Chicago Agent Magazine may include a notice stating that the opinions expressed are solely those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the views of Agent Publishing LLC or Chicago Agent Magazine.
11. No Employment Relationship
Publication of an article does not create an employment, partnership, agency, joint venture, or independent contractor relationship between Contributor and Publisher.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from this Agreement shall be brought in a state or federal court located in Cook County, Illinois, and the parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties regarding the submitted article and supersedes any prior oral or written discussions relating to the submission.
