Christos Prappas, Real Estate Broker

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate

For Christos Prappas, real estate is as much about people as it is about properties. He possesses more than two decades of experience and brings a personal touch, strong values and unmatched market knowledge to every transaction. Born in Nafpaktos, Greece, and raised with deep community roots, he moved to Chicago in the 1990s. He became a licensed real estate broker in the early 2000s and has since built a reputation as a trusted adviser known for his energy, integrity and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

A seasoned real estate investor and multifamily property owner himself, Prappas has sold a broad variety of properties, including single-family homes, multifamily buildings, commercial properties and new developments. He studied real estate appraisal in college and has accumulated substantial hands-on investment experience, enabling him to offer clients a rare blend of analytical insight and street-smart perspective. “Real estate is more than a career for me — it’s a craft. I bring a deep level of commitment and loyalty to my clients,” he says.

Beyond real estate, Prappas is deeply involved in community and cultural leadership. He currently serves as lieutenant governor for the Federation of Sterea Hellas USA and Canada, district of Illinois, and as president of the Nafpaktiaki Fraternity of Chicago. Through these positions, he plays an active role in preserving and promoting Greek heritage in the United States.

Now based in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Prappas enjoys spending his free time traveling with his family — especially back to his hometown in Greece — and reading historical nonfiction. He is a firm believer in staying organized, keeping sight of the big picture and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. “Life is too short, which is why I choose to lead with positivity, purpose and passion — both in business and in life,” he shares.
