Number of years in real estate: Seven.
Describe your look: “Classic Modern” (I Googled for a good answer).
What do you consider a “fashion don’t”? Showing up naked to the office. This is generally frowned upon. Other than that, own it!
What is in your bag/briefcase? My laptop, an iPad, a couple of contracts, a legal pad for notes and my schedule. There is also a book (“Leaders Eat Last” by Simon Sinek) and a copy of Inc. magazine.
What is your favorite piece of clothing? Socks. What a simple way to add character. Sometimes I’ll wear mismatched socks just to see if people are paying attention.
My closet is full of… Mostly my wife’s clothes. My third is mostly suits and shirts, which are, I now notice, dominated by blue.
What do you consider a must-have accessory? A watch. Guys are generally limited to accessories, so a nice watch is key.
What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past? Wearing a VERY wrinkled shirt. I wore one to an office meeting when I first started. I still hear about that one…
Where are your favorite places to shop? Nordstrom Rack, Nordstrom, Jos. A. Bank and Jewel.
Suit by Joseph A. Bank; Shirt by Calvin Klein; Shoes by
Mercanti Fiorentini; Watch by Movado
I seriously think that a well dressed realtor is very important. Showing care over your dress suggests you care about meeting with the client. It always impresses me. Mr Kwilosz is well dressed, but also appropriately irreverent, which puts people at ease.
