Number of years in real estate
This will be my 25th year in mortgage.
Describe your look
Classic 1960s midcentury gentleman.
What do you consider a “fashion don’t”?
I can’t get on board with the classic-suit-along-with-casual-tennis-shoes vibe. Dress classic or dress casual; the mix is a no-go for me.
What style has come back into fashion that you think shouldn’t have?
No socks with loafers is wild to me.
What item of clothing gets you the most compliments?
Definitely my hat; I have a couple of fedoras that I roll with. Gray is the most common/versatile.
What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past?
Dress clothes that don’t fit properly are the worst. I used to have a few dress shirts that were too big, and it was 100% criminal.
Where are your favorite clothing stores or brands?
Thursday boots, Bailey Hats, Suit Supply, IWC Watches.
What fashion accessory do you feel naked without?
If I’m dressed up, definitely my Breitling watch. It’s not super fancy, but I love it.
Who is your style icon?
Sinatra comes to mind right away, and maybe
Steve McQueen.
What decade or time period had the best fashion in your opinion?
Without a doubt, the 1960s … (dressy ’60s, not casual ’60s).
What’s the most expensive or meaningful accessory or piece of clothing you’ve ever acquired? Do you still have it?
I’d have to say, I bought my first fancy watch when I made my first big investment in a rental property, so it means a lot.
What item in your closet do you wear the most?
My Spada Roma suit jacket is my No. 1.
Does your style reflect your personal brand? If so, how?
In some kind of way, I would say yes to this. I feel like my brand is classic but laid-back, as well as super approachable … never stuffy or snobby, but top-tier.
Outfit Details: Bailey Hat, Spada Roma jacket and shirt, Banana Republic pants and belt, Suit Supply shoes, Breitling watch.
