Susan Panozzo is a broker at Compass, Bucktown.

Number of years in real estate:
14.
Describe your look:
My look is polished tailoring with an edge: clean, structured pieces like blazers and trousers, styled with unexpected elements that keep it modern. It reads as confident and intentional, blending classic workwear with functional and comfortable pieces.
What do you consider a “fashion don’t”?
Not being comfortable!
What style has come back into fashion that you think shouldn’t have?
Baggy is great, just not all at once.
What item of clothing gets you the most compliments?
My Johnston & Murphy houndstooth blazer that I got years ago on a whim at Newark airport.
What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past?
Super-high heels that I could never really walk in.
Where are your favorite clothing stores or brands?
Favorite Daughter, FARM Rio, Show Me Your Mumu and any vintage shop that catches my eye.
What fashion accessory do you feel naked without?
My wedding rings and small gold hoop earrings.
Who is your style icon?
Victoria Beckham, Zendaya, Cher.
What decade or time period had the best fashion in your opinion?
The 70s. Such a dynamic mix of bohemian, disco and punk.
What’s the most expensive or meaningful accessory or piece of clothing you’ve ever acquired? Do you still have it?
My late grandmother’s ruby ring. My dad, sister and I all share the ruby as our birthstone, and my grandmother wore the ring as a symbol of that every day.
What item in your closet do you wear the most?
My Söfft Prewitt Horsebit loafers. They are so easy to slip on and off for showings.
Does your style reflect your personal brand? If so, how?
Absolutely. My style blends bold, tailored pieces with functionality and fun. Just like my approach to real estate, it’s polished and intentional, but never rigid.
