What do you consider a “fashion don’t”?
Settling on cheap, fast fashion vs. investing in well-made pieces (I admit I’m a victim of this from time to time).
What item of clothing gets you the most compliments?
My sister owns a boutique in Cincinnati, Ohio, and sends me a lot of clothes. I always get the most compliments in outfits that she handpicks for me from her store that I would have never chosen for myself. Goes to show the pros know best.
What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past?
Logos plastered all over an outfit/accessory. Who did I think I was impressing in a bedazzled Bebe T-shirt? So tacky!
What fashion accessory do you feel naked without?
My 84Rockwell belt bag.
What’s the most expensive or meaningful accessory or piece of clothing you’ve ever acquired? Do you still have it?
My Carolina Herrera wedding gown. I do still have it.
How does your style reflect your personal brand?
When I started my own office, I wanted to stand out from everybody else. Town represents something fresh and fun, and I think that translates directly from my brand to my personal style.
Who is your style icon?
It’s a cross between Kate Middleton, Sofia Richie and SJP … classy and sophisticated, but you always need a little edge
What decade or time period had the best fashion in your opinion?
’90s New York street style … simple and classic, effortlessly cool.
What’s the most expensive or meaningful accessory or piece of clothing you’ve ever acquired? Do you still have it?
My Carolina Herrera wedding gown. I do still have it.
Where are your favorite clothing stores or brands?
Capsule, Zara, Pistola denim, FARM Rio, Free People.
What item in your closet do you wear the most?
My go-to item is probably an old pair of Levi’s that I’ve had for almost 10 years. They are such good quality and perfectly worn in, and easy to dress them up or down.
What style has come back into fashion that you think shouldn’t have?
The thick, white 80s aerobic socks scrunched down over leggings. I will never get behind this trend!
