What was your first job in the realty industry? A listing and buyer’s agent.

Where did you grow up? Norridge.

What is your favorite free-time activity? I love to ski in the winter and watch my daughter compete in horseback riding.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I grab a glass of wine with friends.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Oprah Winfrey, because she is such a brilliant businesswoman.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? The slopes in Park City, Utah.

What do you love most about the industry? The fast pace and the ability to meet people from all walks of life.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I don’t over-promise. If I make a commitment to my clients, I stand behind it. Many agents will tell you what you want to hear; I tell them the truth and deliver what I promise.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? It’s difficult to have a personal life. I receive phone calls at all hours, and I don’t want to be one of those agents who doesn’t respond.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? You name it: the grocery store, the car wash and I have a great network of past clients that refer business to me, which is such a compliment.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? My wonderful children. I am so grateful to have been blessed with an amazing daughter and son.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? Argo – even though you knew the outcome, it was suspenseful and so well-directed.

What is your favorite restaurant? Cooper’s Hawk is up there. There are so many choices in the area, it makes it difficult to pick just one.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Chicago? The Henry B. Clarke House – I love that it is Chicago’s oldest home.

What kind of car do you drive? A Mercedes SUV.

Smartphone or paper? iPhone or iPad all the way.

What is your favorite city after Chicago? Barrington, Illinois.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Stay focused and utilize the tools the company provides you!

What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Blackberry app? I am an Apple fan all the way.
