Originally on a path to obtain a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, Danny Glick realized that a sedentary lifestyle wasn’t for him. A chance conversation with his real estate agent sparked an idea that changed everything. Glick realized that a career in real estate could offer him a combination similar to that of a psychologist — the ability to support people through meaningful life transitions with clarity and confidence.
The keys to Glick’s success have been his keen listening and communication skills combined with an innate ability to put himself in others’ shoes. He knows that the key to success – in any business – is to truly understand the perspective of the person you’re communicating with. Only then can you work toward solutions that will meet their needs. Negotiations need not be adversarial – in fact, they typically end more favorably when parties work together. His team is also creative and brings the latest technology to bear when marketing property.
Now 25 years into his real estate career, Glick leads The Danny Glick Group, a Chicago-based team known for its professionalism, process-driven approach and empathetic client care. His deep understanding of Chicago’s neighborhoods stems from two decades of living, walking and studying the city block by block. Clients appreciate his team’s preparedness, communication and calm demeanor. Most of the group’s business comes from referrals and repeat clients — an indicator that trust is their most valuable asset.
Glick has been recognized as a Top Producer by the Chicago Association of Realtors every year since 2004. He’s also been featured in countless magazines, quoted in articles, hosted HGTV’s House Hunters and was recognized as one of the 100 Most Influential Realtors in Illinois. Glick says, “While the awards are appreciated, our daily mission is singularly focused: to protect our clients and give them peace of mind.”
