As a senior home lending advisor with JPMorgan Chase, Matt Flaherty feels fortunate to offer clients an elevated experience. A 2024 Chase President’s Club honoree, it’s his ninth consecutive time ranking among the company’s top 10 loan originators nationally.
Genuine and hardworking, Flaherty has 26 years of experience in the industry and is dedicated to providing exceptional service to each client. He prides himself on explaining complex concepts in an easy-to-understand way and guiding clients to make sound financial decisions.
Flaherty is skilled at making deals happen swiftly in an ultra-competitive market. His efforts give clients an advantage over buyers who require financing and an opportunity to compete against cash offers.
Flaherty is a seven-time Chicago Agent “Who’s Who” honoree and a recipient of the llinois Mortgage Bankers Association’s 2016 Best Loan Officer of the Year, large bank category award. He continues to offer clients a best-in-class service while reaching a total of $1.3 billion in loan volume and upward of 2,600 mortgage closings for clients at Chase.
“I understand that buying a home can be intense,” he says. “I do my best to make home lending the most relaxed part of the process.” Flaherty helps clients feel at ease by explaining their options, outlining each step of the transaction process and being available 24/7 throughout the homebuying journey.
His team of dedicated home lending assistants – Nick Natale, Melissa Mannix and Dave Poletti – are all seasoned mortgage professionals, obsessed with giving clients white-glove service.
Flaherty lives in North Center with his wife, Mary, and their spoiled, seven-year-old French Bulldog, Yogi. The couple has already made New Year’s reservations to return to “coffee country, USA,” Holualoa, Hawaii. They plan to leave extra space in their luggage to bring home as much Kona coffee as possible.
