After securing a near-million-dollar transaction from an open house early in his career, Evan Reynolds set a standard that has defined his high-velocity growth for nearly a decade. Today, he leads Home Team Advantage alongside his wife and core business partner, Abigail Reynolds. A northwest suburban team, they operate out of eXp Realty and center on Palatine, where Reynolds and his family settled about eight years ago.
Home Team Advantage focuses primarily on Palatine, Arlington Heights and Rolling Meadows, although they also work with clients in Mount Prospect, Prospect Heights, Elk Grove Village, Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates. Working on all sides of the transaction — buyers and sellers, first-time purchasers, and move-up and move-down clients — the team has grown to more than 100 transactions annually and has achieved over $30 million in production volume.
The team’s transaction volume is due to the specialized expertise of its agents. Ewelina Suchecki draws on her functional background in mortgage lending to guide clients through financing hurdles, while Palatine native Nicole Verlotta leverages her lifelong community connections with downtown business owners to achieve results.
Stefan Magazin, a former University of Illinois Chicago soccer goalie, channeled his competitive collegiate drive into a breakout 2025 real estate debut with the team, earning the Top 10 Rookie of the Year honor in volume and units from the North Shore-Barrington Association of REALTORS®. Rounding out Home Team Advantage’s localized market coverage, Schaumburg-based Almas Malik contributes a fierce daily work ethic to the operational unit.
Named an eXp ICON Agent in 2024 and 2025, Reynolds was ranked in the top 1% of agents for volume in 2024 and for transactions in 2024 and 2025 by the North Shore-Barrington Association of REALTORS®. He credits his team for enabling him to maintain that output through a difficult stretch in 2025 when his young son underwent surgery. This year, he and his team have achieved more than $22 million in closed and pending sales as of June.
