Ever since his grandfather advised him to invest in brick-and-mortar property, Rick Richker has had a passion for real estate. Before entering the industry, he traded Nasdaq futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, giving him an extensive financial background. The owner of multifamily units in the city, he eventually progressed to assisting clients with the largest transaction of their lives.
Today, with 16 years of experience in real estate, Richker is a broker associate with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate. He represents luxury, rehab and new-construction clients, as well as first-time homebuyers and empty nesters, throughout the North Shore. Recognized for his instant response time, he credits his success to his ability to connect with people. “While each client places different values on various aspects of the process, it’s crucial to treat them all with equal respect and dedication,” he explains. “With so many years under my belt, I know how to read the room quickly, cut out the noise and get results.”
Recently ranked among the top 100 brokers in Chicago and among the top 1.5% of brokers in the nation, Richker has been named a top producer by the Chicago Association of REALTORS® for over six consecutive years. In 2021, he sold $43 million in property and was ranked No. 31 in Illinois. Currently a board member of Selfhelp Home, he is an avid supporter of Family Service of Glencoe, where he chairs the yearly golf outing and served as a board member for six years.

When he isn’t working, Richker enjoys playing paddleball, pickleball and golf.
