Meg Whitted, Broker

Baird & Warner

At 22, Meg Whitted was a single mom focused on building a better life. By 25, she had earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and was working as a loan officer, where she developed a strong foundation in ethical sales and client-focused service. After earning her real estate license in 2017, she quickly gained traction, building a reputation for excellence that even she hadn’t anticipated.

Clients know Whitted for her direct, decisive communication and relentless work ethic. She sells every home with the same commitment she would expect from someone selling her own — putting in more time, effort and investment than most. Her deep knowledge of Kane County’s market gives her a distinct edge. “I grew up in Geneva when there were dirt roads west of Randall,” she says. “Now I live in St. Charles. I’ve watched these communities grow, and that long-term perspective helps my clients make smarter decisions.”

Whitted’s results speak for themselves: she holds the record for the highest home sale in Kane County at $4.85 million and closed three of the county’s five highest sales in the past year. Her understanding of luxury buyers and the local landscape allows her to match clients with the right homes — on and off the market.

A mother of seven, Whitted admits she often falls in love with homes herself, leading to several moves and three full remodels in the last decade. Outside of real estate, she enjoys traveling with her husband and children, especially to destinations across Western Europe.
