A Midwest native through and through, Lisa Grady, a real estate agent with McColly Real Estate, has a lifetime of firsthand experience backing up her 16 years in the industry. Originally getting her bachelor’s degree in elementary education, she first began building connections in the community as a teacher before jump-starting her real estate career. “I eventually decided I wanted to become a full-time agent,” she says, “so I left my career behind me and soon found myself listing homes for former colleagues.”
Grady has been recognized for her success, as her team has been named in the top 1.5% of Tom Ferres America’s Best and is the No. 1 team in Lake County, Indiana. She is a member of the Crown Point Chamber of Commerce and Crown Point Community Foundation. “My clients find me very approachable,” she proclaims. “They say I’m easygoing yet incredibly knowledgeable of the current market conditions.” She values communication and makes sure to respond quickly to her clients’ questions so as to ease any anxieties they may have and avoid rushing into any sale.
Grady believes that experience is the best teacher, as she has been in many different situations and had to save or walk away from certain transactions. Her years of experience have taught her solutions that many unseasoned agents might not think of, and she isn’t easily rattled, knowing that things will work out as they should.
When not helping her clients find their forever home, Grady enjoys spending time with her family and grandchild whenever possible. She also sponsors local athletic teams, helps guide her adult children through their real estate journey, and enjoys her son’s landscaping company’s work.
