Anna Castillo-Martin, Sr. Home Lending Advisor

Chase

When she received an offer to work in the business, Anna Castillo-Martin wasted no time in seizing the opportunity and flexibility of the real estate field. Calling upon the skills she gained as a former restaurant industry bookkeeper, she has spent the past 21 years masterfully helping clients secure conventional and specialized loans.

Known for her impeccable attention to detail and prompt response time, Castillo-Martin describes herself as fun and easy-going. “I do believe being social and friendly has been instrumental, but also my knowledge of the industry and being bi-lingual (Spanish) have helped many people in better understanding the process,” she says. She begins each interaction with a warm introduction and educates her clients while setting expectations for each step of the process.

Castillo-Martin is a natural team player. She enjoys brainstorming with other team members at her firm and serves as a de facto mentor to many of her peers due to her leadership qualities. Undoubtedly related to the care she puts into cultivating professional relationships, many of Castillo-Martin’s clients come to her through partnerships with real estate agents and banking partners within Chase.

A strength Castillo-Martin honed in the aftermath of the pandemic is the ability to adapt to new environments when the market changes. The personal accomplishment of which she’s most proud, however, is her successful mentoring of a new peer over the past year. As she describes it, “It’s been great watching her grow and depend on me less and less.”

A member of the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Castillo-Martin is also involved in philanthropic and charitable endeavors including the King’s Table annual Christmas event.
