Gary Hardina, Sales and Broker Associate

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago

A well-rounded real estate professional with 25 years of experience that began in Chicago, Gary Hardina is someone that any client would be lucky to work with. Specializing in the second-home market, he serves the Lake Michigan shoreline from South Haven to Saugatuck; the entire Southwest Michigan region from the Indiana border northward; and the Northwest Indiana lakeshore areas as well as remaining active in the Chicago market. He caters to luxury, lakefront and second-home buyers and sellers of all price points, and has extensive experience in selling single-family homes, condos and vacant land.

Hardina’s connection to the areas he serves is deeply personal. He and his husband fell in love with Southwest Michigan on a weekend trip in 2007 and eventually made the area their full-time home, a place they’ve lived for over 15 years now. Prior to his real estate career, he worked in the technology field and in retail. His background in technology, in particular, has been a great asset in real estate, as he was one of the first agents to have a personal website and embraced innovations in the industry from the start.

“I have learned that technology is a great tool to assist clients within the sale and purchase of properties,” he says, “but I believe that building strong relationships, providing top-notch customer service and always putting the client’s best interests first are the keys to success in real estate. That’s what I strive for in every transaction.”

Considerate and professional, Hardina has had great success in the industry. He has been awarded many accolades, including the 2021 and 2022 Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices President’s Circle Award and the Southwestern Michigan Association of Realtors Diamond Sales Award in 2022. He has also received glowing reviews from his clients, who appreciate his honesty, positivity, responsiveness and knowledge of the area.
