Bradley J. Martin, Senior Loan Consultant

loanDepot

Bradley J. Martin and his family relocated from the Chicago suburbs to Harbor Country, where he’s expanding his client and referral partner base to assist the many families also relocating there or purchasing a second home, weekend retreat, vacation getaway or investment property. He uses his expertise to provide his clients with unparalleled personal attention, guidance and service.

After practicing real estate law at a large Chicago firm, Martin became general counsel for a multistate mortgage lender before starting his own mortgage broker company and then joining one of the nation’s largest non-bank lenders. This extensive background has given him invaluable insight into every aspect of the lending industry and enables him to anticipate and handle potential issues. “I’ve learned to be proactive, rather than reactive,” he says. “If I have concerns on a file, I’ll research it at the onset to prevent things from blowing up during the process.”

Martin has received numerous professional accolades during his 26-year career. Most recently, he became a member of loanDepot’s Chairman’s Elite Club (in 2020 and 2021), and the Scotsman Guide ranked him among their top originators.

With a commitment to their best interests, Martin guides clients through every step of the mortgage process, earning their trust while keeping his referral partners informed throughout the transaction. “I make sure to stay in contact with clients post-closing to address any concerns, answer questions and look for strategic lending opportunities to save my clients money,” he explains. His hands-on approach to business and warm sense of humor gives clients a one-of-a-kind experience.

In his off-hours, Martin enjoys scuba diving, traveling, bike riding and spending time with family and his two dogs. He’s also been involved with several nonprofit organizations, including the Giving Rocks Foundation, Acorn Center for the Performing Arts, Lurie Children’s Medical Research Board and Jewish Council for Youth Services.
