Judith Dillon Farley, Broker/Owner

Farley Real Estate LLC

Specializing in unique lakefront and resort properties, Judith Farley sells in the luxury and second-home markets in southwest Michigan, northwest Indiana and Sarasota, Florida. The broker and owner of Farley Real Estate LLC, she has been in the industry for 36 years. “Real estate and decorating were always a passion for me, so as a single mother, this was a perfect avenue for me to support my family,” she says. She moved to New Buffalo in 1985, became licensed and began selling full-time.

Known for her honesty, integrity and knowledge of the market, Farley describes herself as being very hands-on with her clients. “When clients call, they do not get a team member, a secretary or a recorded message; they get me,” she promises. “I secure answers quickly and am able to educate buyers and sellers in the current market.”

Farley’s proudest recent accomplishment was selling an expensive lakefront home at a higher price and on better terms than the listing agent who had it under contract. She remembers how the seller was very grateful for her insistence on presenting her offer. “Real estate is my passion,” she explains. “It is what I do for enjoyment and fulfillment of self.” She once had a client recovering from cancer who thanked her for his second home, where he set up a bird sanctuary that he tearfully said saved his life. “It’s all about the people and helping others achieve a dream of a lifestyle,” she says.

Farley’s son, Matthew Farley, is a valuable partner in caring out the business legacy and forging new paths with current technology and innovative ideas. Matthew joined the company in 2008 and has been instrumental in its success.

An avid bike rider, Farley went biking along the Danube River in Europe and is a certified diver who has gone diving all over the world. She also enjoys golf and recently started playing pickleball. “I love to travel and have my suitcase packed,” she says. “Life is a big excursion to be explored every day.”
