Carol Collins, Vice President of Sales

Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty

A Chicagoan with almost 30 years of experience in the Windy City, Carol Collins is dedicated to her clients and “obsessed with obtaining the perfect result for them.” The vice president of sales at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty describes herself as focused on the task at hand and constantly working behind the scenes to further her clients’ interests.

Collins loves her home city and has experienced its huge shifts over the past decades. “When I first moved to Chicago,” she says, “I lived in Northwestern student housing, above Eli’s The Place for Steak, which is now the location of Lurie Children’s Memorial Hospital. From my apartment, I watched the old Armory being torn down and the construction of the Museum of Contemporary Art. At the time, the southwest block at the corner of Michigan and Chicago Avenues was only inhabited by a McDonald’s. In the last 30 years, Chicago has changed a great deal, and I’ve had a front-row seat.”

Collins explains that her knowledge and connection to the city give her an edge over her competitors. “As I am entering my 30th year, there isn’t a lot that I haven’t seen or experienced in a transaction or an inspection,” she says. “I was touring new construction when a lot of agents were in preschool, so I know the backstory on the developments. I had my first sale in West Loop long before it was the hottest neighborhood in town.” Many of Collins’ clients are repeat customers or referrals. She shares that in the past year she’s enjoyed working with past clients, children of past clients and parents of past clients.

Collins has been listed among the top 1.5% of 1.6 million agents nationwide by RealTrends America’s Best in 2021 and 2022, and she recently achieved the Platinum Individual Producer Award at Jameson Sotheby’s International Real Estate and is a Top Producer with Chicago Association of Realtors.
