Mark Rantis, SRES Broker

Keller Williams Success Realty

Years ago, Mark Rantis experienced many challenges when moving his father to a senior-living facility. “I saw a huge gap in the real estate world that needed a solution to help families navigate this draining process,” he says. “It has become my mission to be the ‘New Google’ and ‘Easy’ button for families that have to make these moves.”

Rantis is an exceptional resource to anyone making lifestyle adjustments due to age. As part of his commitment to this community, he serves on the board of two nonprofits. One, the Illinois Continuity of Care Association, is an amazing group that operates on the local and state level to serve the aging population and their adult children. Rantis has been with COC since 2010, after going through the experience with his father. Now he guides families through the complexities of downsizing, assessing senior living options and connecting with every professional resource they need to assist their loved ones transitioning to the next chapter in their lives. The second, called I Just Need, helps veterans find housing and shelter.

A nine-time recipient of Chicago Magazine’s Five Star Real Estate Agent award, Rantis believes his success is the result of his need to always continue learning and growing. He also knows surrounding himself with the best people allows him to focus on his superpowers. His motto is, “Teamwork makes the dream work,” and he understands that he’s there to help others achieve their real estate and wealth goals through his knowledge, expertise and systems.

Rantis attributes his constant growth to his ability to form and keep relationships. This explains why 98 percent of his business comes from referrals. With a growth mindset, Rantis is always looking to improve. He has very high standards for himself and the service his team provides. “This is a relationship business,” he says. “I was always taught by my parents to be honest and to treat others as I would like to be treated. These traits have always propelled me.” And he does his best to instill his three growing boys with these traits as well.
