The owner of an independent insurance agency for 10 years, Maria Rodriguez DiGioia has always been interested in real estate. Her work in the insurance industry honed her knowledge of the Chicago landscape. Shortly after selling her insurance agency in 2014, Rodriguez DiGioia’s husband suggested she obtain her real estate license. She made the leap and has enjoyed an upward trajectory for the past eight years.
Rodriguez DiGioia serves a clientele in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. Knowing how to speak to people is key for her. With years of experience in rehabbing, she has a unique ability to help clients envision the potential of a property. All her clients are referrals, and they applaud Rodriguez DiGioia as an out-of-the-box problem solver. “I am with them every step of the way, from the beginning to the end and even after the transaction is completed,” she says.
Earning multiple awards throughout her career, Rodriguez DiGioia ranked among the top 15% of agents on Homesnap last year. She was also chosen to be an author for the second edition of “Business Diva: Stories of Women Leading in Business.” Rodriguez DiGioia proudly serves as an ambassador for eXp Latino and is a member of the Aurora Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the local chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. She also holds the LUXE Luxury Listing Specialist designation.
When not working, Rodriguez DiGioia enjoys spending time with her supportive husband, Joe, and their five children. Her family is her driving motivation, and she and her husband have a family-owned home renovation company, Mad Dog Development, Inc. She is a member of the Latina Executive Golf Organization and an active volunteer with many local groups. Rodriguez DiGioia recently helped form a nonprofit organization to facilitate inclusion for the DuPage County Latino community and serves as the first president of the DuPage Hispanic Alliance.
