With a network of professional contractors and partners she has built over 10 years as a real estate investor, Realtor Maria Metzler naturally adds a concierge element to her business. “I always have a professional ‘someone’ my client can call to assist,” she says. “I consider myself a full-service Realtor. I can assist with almost every facet of a house.”
Metzler and her husband, a longtime contractor, invest in real estate together. They have owned commercial buildings along with long- and short-term rentals and have flipped about 30 Chicagoland properties. This extensive experience allows Metzler to build confidence with her clients, knowing that they are looking to her for expertise. “Things change over the years as well as the market,” she explains. “Clients need a professional to guide them through it. When we are in the real estate business, we can take for granted that others know the process. That’s not the case for most clients. It’s our job to get them from start to finish with ease.”
An enthusiasm for real estate and strong communication are key to Metzler’s business relationships. “I like to have fun yet get the job done. I’m 100% committed to my clients and getting through the home-buying and selling process, including all the little details,” she says. When a transaction is complete, her clients often say they’ll miss talking to her daily because she is so deeply involved and stays in constant contact.
Representing Baird & Warner in the northern suburb of Libertyville, Metzler has most recently worked with buyers in the Chain O’ Lakes area and those looking for rural “farmettes.” A team of professionals is always at the ready to help, and Metzler considers them important to her success. “Whether it’s contractors, inspectors, mortgage lenders, other agents or administrative assistants, I have a very strong group of people around me,” she shares.
Even when she is away from real estate, Metzler is never really away. Even on vacation, she loves to look at houses, and she recently finished a major remodel of her own home.
