Jan Kupiec is a seasoned Realtor with 24 years of experience selling real estate in the Chicagoland area. She began her career as a real estate paralegal at a large downtown Chicago law firm. As part of her paralegal and legal administration studies, she obtained her real estate license, which gave her a thorough understanding of the industry. Later, she helped open and build a successful real estate law firm in downtown Chicago.
These opportunities gave Kupiec a unique perspective on the legal aspects of real estate. While she eventually left the firm to focus on her own real estate career, she has since applied her extensive experience to optimize the buying and selling processes for her clients.
Now a Realtor with Baird & Warner’s Edgebrook office, Kupiec deals with everyone from sellers to relocation clients to first-time and move-up buyers. She specializes in single-family homes, condominiums and multi-unit properties.
Kupiec ensures her clients have the information to locate their dream home or generate the most competitive listing possible. With her comprehensive knowledge of the marketplace, she is especially skilled at handling negotiations. She was featured in a Top Agent Magazine cover story and has been recognized in the Who’s Who in Chicagoland Residential Real Estate issue for the last several years.
Kupiec’s clients appreciate her friendly demeanor, honesty and ability to accommodate their schedules. “I become friends with all of my clients while we are working together and remain friends with most after closing,” she shares.
Outside of work, Kupiec is a board member of the Edgebrook Community Association. In addition, she is a member of the Edgebrook Sauganash Chamber of Commerce and the Edgebrook Woman’s Club. In her free time, she enjoys Zumba, networking and walking her rescue dog, Angel, in the neighborhood.
