After 30 years working in the mortgage industry, David Weinberg is recognized for giving great advice and listening attentively to his clients’ needs and wants. “Throughout the years, I have seen thousands of loan scenarios and solved countless challenges for complex borrowers,” Weinberg says. “This level of experience gives me a solid edge over my peers.”
Vice president of residential lending and a branch manager at New American Funding, Weinberg represents a full spectrum of borrowers spread throughout the country. Receiving new clients from Realtors and word-of-mouth through past clients, he says his style is all business but with a level-headed demeanor and high level of communication. “I ask all my new clients to really think about their budget and their future,” he explains. “We discuss any big life events they are expecting, how much they are comfortable paying on a monthly basis and what they are able to budget for a down payment.” He wants every client to sleep soundly in their new home knowing they have made a great decision.
Weinberg has continuously been a top 1% producer, has earned President’s Club status annually for the past 20 years and has various other industry and company accolades. Acknowledged for his experience, accessibility and accuracy, he navigates all markets to help his buyers win deals successfully. “Helping buyers, whether first-timers or seasoned homeowners, navigate the current market to a successful outcome is the goal,” he says.
An avid pickleball player, Weinberg shares that his proudest moments are watching his youngest child grow into a successful high school student and athlete, and his oldest thrive in graduate school, studying clinical social work.
