Growing up working summers at the family real estate business in Wichita, Kansas, Stephanie Turner’s natural path was real estate. Her father, who owns a commercial and residential appraisal firm, has been in the industry for over 50 years, while her mother is going on 30 years as a Realtor. “My mom used to take me to open houses as a kid,” Turner remembers. “I loved looking at properties; I still do.”
A global real estate advisor with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, Turner represents clients throughout the West Loop, Lincoln Park, Bucktown-Wicker Park, Gold Coast, Old Town, Lakeview and the Chicagoland area. A Chicago resident for 32 years, she graduated from DePaul University before living in the West Loop. Now she enjoys hosting neighborhood open houses and sponsoring movies in the park during the summer.
Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty presented Turner with the Silver Residential Award in 2024 and the Gold in 2023. She was also nominated for the Charitable Service Award Agent’s Choice Awards in 2023. A member of the National Association of Realtors, Chicago Association of Realtors and Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, she supports the University of Illinois Chicago Craniofacial Center by serving as the vice president and member of the executive board for the center’s Face the Future Foundation.
Turner worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years but shifted careers when the gyms closed during the pandemic. A Division 1 tennis player in college, she now enjoys playing platform tennis, running and taking time to enjoy the Chicago food scene. “I’m very competitive, but being a team player is important too and having that balance is key to structuring deals,” she explains. “I take almost everything I learned in playing competitive sports to my business.”
