Rooted in Chicago and powered by a deep understanding of its neighborhoods and suburbs, Chaya Benhiyoun brings eight years of hands-on real estate experience to her clients at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty. A native of Lincoln Park and now a resident of the Gold Coast, she bridges city and suburban life seamlessly — commuting daily to the northern suburbs, where her children attend school, and maintaining close ties with the communities she serves. Her business spans from first-time condominium buyers in Hyde Park to developers breaking ground in Highland Park.
Benhiyoun got her start in the industry thanks to a prominent developer who recruited her to lease a building in Printer’s Row. That experience sparked a passion — not just for the people and relationships, but for the creative vision behind transforming spaces, too. Her background in education and leadership sharpened her communication and empathy, which now fuel her ability to guide clients with clarity and confidence.
Clients describe Benhiyoun as an advocate and advisor — someone who listens deeply, negotiates fiercely and always goes the extra mile. Whether she’s coaching a seller through a multiple-offer scenario or helping a buyer reimagine what’s possible, she operates with precision, care and strategy. In 2024, she earned a Silver Award from Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, and she has surpassed $50 million in career sales.
Outside of real estate, Benhiyoun is a devoted mother of two and an active supporter of local charities, donating monthly to causes close to her heart. She finds balance through boxing, yoga, travel and fashion, and takes pride in being a role model for her daughters, showing them firsthand what it means to build a life with purpose and passion.
