Chase D. Moore was looking for a meaningful career change that could positively impact people’s lives and not just earn a paycheck. He found it in mortgage lending.

Moore, a senior home lending advisor with JP Morgan Chase Bank, is a part of the Chase Private Client team, specializing in conventional, jumbo, VA and FHA loans. “I love playing a pivotal role in making clients’ goals become their reality, so it is not just a transaction for me,” he says. “I build relationships with my clients, I go through the home purchase process with them, and I enjoy being at the closing table to tell them in person, ‘We are funded.’”

Since earning a graduate degree in 2011, he has always held a role in finance. Prior to joining JP Morgan Chase in 2016 as a private client banker, he worked for other large finance firms. He believes that home ownership is one of the first steps in building family wealth. “Assisting someone who is purchasing a home is a key piece in helping them achieve financial freedom,” he says, which was pivotal in choosing his current career path.

He takes the time to educate clients about the homebuying process. He ensures that his team is engaged with the borrower, their attorney and their Realtor throughout the transaction. “After the loan funds, I still maintain communication with clients, making them aware of any opportunity to refinance their loan,” he says.

Moore recieved of the Illinois Mortgage Broker Association’s 2022 Rookie of Year award. ‘My grandfather instilled in me the value of doing good business,” he says. “I am building relationships for the future, not just funding loans.”
