Yolanda Jeffries originally entered real estate by default. Her only goal was to sell one home, her own, and she felt nobody else could do it. However, after nearly six years in the industry, Jeffries, managing broker and team leader for the Yolanda Jeffries Team, has opened her own real estate brokerage. “I never thought I’d fall in love with the industry, let alone stick around for nearly six years as a Realtor.” Lux Life Realty will become the first full-service luxury concierge brokerage to offer its clients and realtors a broad range of services, including white-glove service, general contracting and title services, and investment loans. A business launch celebration will take place at the Signature Room, atop the former John Hancock Center. “August 23, 2023, will be a magnificent day, as it’s special because I passed the managing broker exam the same day last year on my late mom’s birthday. This is the perfect tribute to my mother, as without her strength I don’t think I would’ve accomplished this goal,” acknowledges Jeffries.
Jeffries has an office based in the Gold Coast, which has now become her main area of focus. “Chicago is the epitome of luxury for real estate, and now I can better service my clients as the center of attraction for all of their real estate needs,” she says.
With a degree in finance, Jeffries is an analytical, numbers-focused person. This background has come in handy and is what she says helped her win the Top Producer award from 2020 to 2022 from the Chicago Association of Realtors and qualify as a finalist for the 2023 IREJ Emerging Leader of the Year Award. She has also appeared on the cover of Chicago Agent Magazine. Jeffries garners most of her business through social media referrals and past clients.
Above all else, Jeffries’ ability to connect and establish relationships with her clients, paired with her negotiating skills, are what bring her clients success and make her a top-producing team leader. “I want my clients to know they are working with a trusted professional who will get the deal done for them,” she says.
