Patty Cerny and Kristen Hack, Residential Sales Specialists

The Cerny Team, Baird & Warner

At the heart of the Cerny Team is the drive to become part of and help write each client’s real estate story. “We absolutely love this business,” says Patty Cerny. “It is a true privilege to not only represent our clients in their home sale — the biggest purchase decision most people will ever make — but, most important, to be a part of their story.”

This dynamic mother-daughter team brings a wealth of experience to the real estate industry. Cerny began her real estate journey in 1988, inspired by her accomplished father, Victor Graziano, who was a highly successful Realtor and investor. Hack, with a flourishing 10-year career in advertising, eagerly joined the business in 2015 to work alongside her mom.

As lifelong residents of the Northwest Side of Chicago, the team brings heavy expertise in neighborhoods like Sauganash, Edgebrook, Forest Glen and Wildwood, as well as the nearby North Shore suburbs. Cerny’s roots run deep in the Northwest Side, as she moved to Sauganash in 1988. Hack, on the other hand, was born and raised there, and is now raising her own three young children in Sauganash.

One of their proudest professional accomplishments in recent years was enabling longtime clients and good friends to find and purchase their dream home before it even hit the market. “By identifying the right property early,” explains Hack, “approaching the agent pre-market, our clients were thrilled to beat out the competition and secure the absolute perfect home for their growing family.” Cerny adds, “We build strong, enduring relationships with clients who have honored us with referrals from friends and family.”

Since 1999, Cerny has consistently been a top producer at Baird & Warner. Outside of the duo’s thriving real estate careers, she is a volunteer for Chicago Animal Care and Control, while Hack is actively involved in her community as a coach and a member of her children’s school-parent association.
