With nine years of residential, investment, and relocation property experience, Jon Dimetros serves clients in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Having lived in nine of Chicago’s neighborhoods has given him a “unique understanding of the soul and vibe of our great neighborhoods,” he says.
Dimetros considers assisting and advising clients to be his biggest professional accomplishments. “People come to me from different walks of life,” he explains. “Sometimes there’s urgency in the need to purchase or sell, and I really enjoy taking what starts as a stressful situation for a client and helping alleviate what was a concern for them.”
“My style is direct, compassionate and fun,” Dimetros adds. “I’ve learned communication is key above all else and instrumental to a functioning working relationship.” His clients also praise his responsiveness and ability to see transactions through. “Most of them would describe me as easygoing and laid back, assertive but not pushy,” he says. “I tend to cater to each individual client’s personality and am pretty keen on the best way to attend to a client to give them the best possible experience.”
Treating everyone equally sets Dimetros apart from his competitors. “My first couple years in real estate I was working with clients that had budgets ranging from $150,000 to $1 million and I gave an equal amount of effort and attention to each transaction as one should,” he says. “This has become the foundation of my motto: Treat all your clients the same and give them the same level of endeavor. Some brokers become a bit spoiled as they advance in their careers and deal with higher average sales prices, and may not give all leads and referrals a fair shake.”
Dimetros, however, goes the extra mile. “If you’re too busy or there’s an area you don’t service, at the very minimum, I feel it’s an obligation to try to match that client with a great referral broker you trust to give them a wonderful experience.”
