Called to the real estate industry in 1996, Jim Czeszewski never left. Earning his real estate broker’s license in 2007 after working in a real estate law office, being a loan originator and later founding a private development and property management company, Czeszewski is now the principal broker and team leader of TeamJC at Compass. Providing concierge-level real estate services to clients in and around Chicago and the western suburbs, he and his team specialize in buyers, sellers, builders and investors with budgets ranging from $100k to over $2 million.
As a former resident of Park Ridge, Barrington Hills, Arlington Heights, Lincoln Park, Palatine, Lakeview, Buffalo Grove and Wheeling, Czeszewski, now a 16-year resident of eastern DuPage County, has a nuanced vantage point of the markets. “There aren’t many areas that I can’t effectively serve,” he says, adding that he’s able to draw on his personal experience as a homeowner, developer and landlord to guide his clients through the process. “Educating my clients is an imperative part of my business, and it’s my job to focus on even the smallest details,” he insists.
A self-described “professional with a twist,” Czeszewski prides himself on being able to keep things light, despite the stress of buying or selling, and treats every transaction as if he were the client. “I feel all the highs and lows of every deal,” he shares. “My clients understand that I’m not in this to close a quick deal. Whether working with buyers or sellers, I work tirelessly to help my clients achieve their real estate goals.”
From 2010 to 2019, Czeszewski earned a Multi-Million Dollar Producer award from Coldwell Banker Realty, and in 2019, he transitioned his business to Compass as one of the founding brokers in the west suburban region. An Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Certified Negotiation Expert, Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource and Certified Relocation Specialist, he is also a member of the National Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors and Mainstreet Organization of Realtors.
