“I am not talented,” Vincent Anthony Incopero says. “I am obsessed.”
Incopero has over 10 years of experience and 15,000 transactions under his belt. Recent work includes representing a hard-money lender in reclaiming a Cook County portfolio of more than 20 single-family homes — a defaulted $6 million-plus loan resolved outside of foreclosure — and codeveloping a custom real estate CRM and transaction management platform his firm now uses in-house. Super Lawyers has named Incopero to its Rising Stars list each year from 2021 through 2024.
His path into real estate law was shaped by a mentor with deep roots in land trust and 1031 exchange work who pushed him toward the field during law school. His legal background includes clerking for a foreclosure firm representing banks and creditors, followed by an attorney position at Chicago Title. This experience gave him a thorough understanding of title insurance and how to identify title defects early. Today, through REAL Law Group, he handles bank-owned properties, short sales and distressed transactions across Chicagoland and the collar counties, representing buyers, sellers, investors, developers and hard-money lenders on residential and commercial matters.
Unlike many real estate attorneys whose clients may never exchange a word with them before closing, Incopero’s firm relies on a structured team approach where support staff manage clearly defined roles. Each phase of the transaction includes an internal quality check to identify potential title or contractual issues as soon as a contract is received, keeping the closing timeline on track and ensuring his clients receive five-star service throughout every interaction.
