Before real estate, Lisa Reznick spent over 20 years trading S&P 500 futures in the high-stakes trading pits of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. That environment forces one to become a quick thinker who thrives under pressure — skills that translated perfectly when she transitioned into housing market negotiations over a decade ago.
Today, she handles everything from single-family suburban homes on the North Shore to condos and townhomes, multi units and single-family homes in the city. Because she grew up on the North Shore and has lived on Chicago’s North Side for more than 25 years — specifically calling Lincoln Park, Old Town and the Gold Coast home — she has an insider’s view of local market trends. She works with a mix of first-time buyers, seasoned investors, and luxury buyers and sellers.
Reznick describes her own business style as fun, easy and low-key. “I hold my clients’ hands from start to finish,” she explains, focusing heavily on being responsive and setting realistic market expectations upfront. She gets her buyers prequalified early so there are no surprises, and that communication-first approach is exactly why almost 100% of her business comes from past client referrals.
Her background includes a BS in finance from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago, giving her a deep economic foundation. A proud mom of a son who will be attending Elon University in North Carolina in the fall. Reznick volunteers with Care for Friends, cooking and serving meals to people in need. She stays active through biking, hiking, yoga, swimming and pickleball.
