Prior to a career in real estate, Carol Anne Bozarth spent 25 years working in the social work and criminal justice field. She also ran a consulting business where she helped people obtain fair prison sentences. “After many years of very challenging work, I realized I wanted to help people in a more positive environment,” she shares. “Several friends in the industry encouraged me to try mortgage lending, which I started just as the pandemic was starting.”
A loan officer with Key Mortgage Services, Bozarth had to build her business through Zoom during her first year, establishing a firm network that paved the way to her success. “My clients appreciate my white glove service and the care I take to ensure they understand all the numbers and the best loan option for their unique needs,” she explains. “What’s most important to me is that my clients have a positive experience and that I make my agent partners shine.”
Named a member of Key Mortgage Services President’s Club her first year, Bozarth continues to achieve Founder’s Club status every year. Most proud when clients thank her agent partners for referring them to her, she draws upon her psychology background to help clients discuss their personal finances and credit scores. Leading with empathy and encouragement, she partners with them to strategize their path to homeownership. “I put in the time necessary to help my clients achieve their dreams,” she shares. “The most satisfying part of my job is when clients cross the finish line with the keys to their home in their hands.”
Bozarth lives in River Forest with her husband and two children, ages 17 and 20. When not working, she enjoys traveling, yoga, spending time with friends and family and watching her kids play volleyball.
