Recognized for his commitment to service and education, Dan Rogers is a successful mortgage professional with nearly four decades of experience. “Every morning, I wake up with the same drive, energy and passion for helping people that I had when I started in 1986,” he shares.
Regional manager and senior vice president of mortgage lending with Rate, Rogers specializes in down payment assistance for first-time buyers, VA loans and crafting strategic pathways to homeownership. “Buying a home is one of the biggest, and sometimes most intimidating, moments in a person’s life,” he says. “My job is to simplify that experience and make sure each client feels supported every step of the way.” A master of systems and follow-through, he takes pride in being highly organized, responsive and proactive. “Technology is important, but it will never replace the personal touch,” he adds.
Leader of The Rogers Team, Rogers ranks 160th in the nation and No. 6 in Illinois for purchase loans closed in 2025. Under his leadership, Rate has also emerged as a top provider of homebuyer grants through the Illinois Housing Development Authority, ranking fifth in Chicagoland. Committed to service, he supports the Rate Foundation, the Disabled Patriot Fund and various youth sports initiatives. A sponsor of community fundraisers for nonprofits such as Together We Cope and Filling The Gap, he also launched his own charitable trust to assist families in need.
A former Ironman triathlete and avid marathoner, Rogers is a proud vegan with a refined taste for wine. His professional and personal philosophy is captured in The Rogers Team’s signature motto: Helping people with a mortgage is not our job, it’s our lifestyle.
