John Greco & Patrick Greco

G Real Estate Co.

John Greco, Designated Managing Broker

Patrick Greco, Broker

Growing up, John Greco moved frequently, attending six schools in as many years. Experiencing firsthand the stress of buying, selling and relocating, he noticed how one particular real estate broker made the process easier for his family. After high school, while studying at the College of DuPage, Greco had a chance encounter with his marketing professor and that professor’s wife — who happened to be a real estate agent — that led him to his first career night at a brokerage. It was there that he met the same broker who helped his family years before. That broker became his mentor, and at age 21, Greco earned his real estate license.

Now, with 38 years in the industry, he specializes in both residential and commercial real estate, assisting a diverse clientele alongside his son, Patrick. Known for his direct yet patient approach, he prioritizes client education, laying out all options and guiding clients through every step of the process. Greco’s client base ranges from first-time buyers to owners of billion-dollar companies. His referrals come through past clients, attorneys, lenders, relocation companies and retired real estate professionals.

Greco is also a real estate investor who owns, manages and rehabs several Chicagoland properties. Over the years, he’s acquired a keen understanding of value, opportunity and the nuances of the communities that make up this remarkable landscape he calls home.

Outside of real estate, Greco is involved with iMentor, helping inner-city students develop their goals and careers. A dedicated music fan, he also plays in a band. Above all, he values relationships and remains committed to guiding clients through one of life’s most significant decisions. “I think I came into this business very aware of the importance and meaning of what ‘home’ is,” he shares. “I specialize in people and their goals.”
