Recognized as a master of systems and follow-through, Dan Rogers takes pride in being highly organized, responsive and proactive; all qualities to give his clients peace of mind. “Every morning, I wake up with the same drive, energy and passion for helping people that I had when I started in 1986,” Rogers shares.
A regional manager and senior vice president of mortgage lending with Rate, Rogers has nearly four decades of experience. Specializing in down payment assistance for first-time homebuyers and VA loans, he crafts strategic pathways to homeownership for clients from all walks of life. “Buying a home is one of the biggest moments in a person’s life,” he says. “My job is to simplify that experience and make sure every client feels supported every step of the way.”
Rate presented Rogers the Top Net Promoter Score Award in 2018. Now, as the leader of The Rogers Team, he ranks 119th in the nation and No. 4 in Illinois for purchase loans closed in 2024. Under his leadership, Rate has emerged as a top provider of homebuyer grants through the Illinois Housing Development Authority, ranking third statewide. Committed to giving back to his community, he supports the Rate Foundation, the Disabled Patriot Fund and a range of youth sports initiatives. He sponsors community fundraisers for nonprofits such as Together We Cope and Filling The Gap while also launching his own charitable trust to assist families in need.
A former Ironman triathlete and avid marathoner, Rogers is a proud vegan with a refined taste for wine. His professional and personal philosophy is captured in The Rogers Team’s signature motto: “Helping people with a mortgage is not our job; it’s our lifestyle.”
