Jesse Masin, Broker

While studying at Columbia College Chicago, Jesse Masin discovered a passion for architectural design, structure and history. Coupled with his education in marketing communications, that passion grew into a thriving real estate career. Inspired by renowned modern architects such as Le Corbusier, Tadao Ando and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Masin has been bringing his enthusiasm for the art and design of buildings to his Chicago real estate business for 14 years.

As a longtime resident of Lincoln Park, the Gold Coast and Logan Square, Masin is intimately familiar with the city’s rich and diverse neighborhoods as well as the North Shore and near western suburbs, which he also serves. “My familiarity with the nuances of Chicago’s many neighborhoods allows me to educate clients effectively and match them with homes that reflect their unique tastes and lifestyles,” Masin attests.

His business is built largely on referrals, which Masin attributes to the trust he works hard to build with each client and industry peer. He adds that many of his transactions occur off-market, thanks to his extensive network of industry colleagues and longstanding relationships throughout the city, which helps him provide his clients opportunities that others may miss.

Buyers and sellers both commend the industry veteran for his expertise and approachability as well as his ability to simplify a complex process. “What sets me apart from other real estate brokers is my unique blend of architectural expertise, deep market knowledge and a highly personalized, relationship-driven approach, Masin shares. “I take the time to educate, advise and provide insights that help my clients make informed decisions, whether they’re buying their first home or investing in a luxury property.”

A patron of the Chicago Art Institute, Masin also supports Lurie Children’s Hospital and the ACLU. He enjoys skiing, traveling, cooking and interior design.
