With real estate in her DNA, thanks to a father who is an architect and developer, Marjorie Allabastro’s expertise covers the vibrant Chicago metro area and surrounding suburbs in Cook and Lake counties. Growing up on the North Shore in Lake Forest and currently residing in Irving Park, Allabastro has a deep understanding of the diverse neighborhoods and markets she serves. “I love living in the city with quick access to the north shore,” she says. “I feel like I get the best of all worlds.” Having worked in both residential and corporate real estate development, she brings a unique perspective to her role as a Realtor with Baird & Warner.
As a member of the Founder’s Club at Baird & Warner since 2018, Allabastro’s professional accomplishments are impressive. She consistently ranks among the top 20 agents in her high-performing office. “My knowledge of construction has given me the ability to translate my clients’ needs into a physical manifestation, their dream property,” notes Allabastro. “My time in real estate development helped me understand the intricacies of many different types of properties from the ground up”.
Allabastro manages the Marjorie Allabastro Group at Baird & Warner, a team which includes multiple showing agents, a transaction manager, a social media manager and a marketing assistant. Known for her knowledge and informative approach, Allabastro strives to make the real estate process both enjoyable and rewarding. “There is no agent who takes the interests of the buyer or seller more seriously,” she emphasizes. “I am experienced, knowledgeable and passionate about my job. I also love using the latest in proven technology to help my clients achieve their goals above the competition.”
In addition to her career, Allabastro is actively involved in philanthropic endeavors. She supports organizations focused on literacy and early childhood education, such as Redwood Literacy, focused on Dyslexia intervention, and Concordia Place, a high-quality childcare provider. She also supports adoption through organizations like The Cradle Adoption Services and the Adoption Center for Family Building.
When she is not hard at work, you can find Allabastro and her two sons enjoying their favorite hobby—kayaking. “As a single mom, I love balancing family and career,” she says. “Working with some of the most fabulous clients is always a pleasure for me. Knowing that I’ve helped them is a great gift.”
