Peggy Glickman & Michael Glickman, Real Estate Brokers

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate, Glickman Residential

Executing seamless transactions throughout the city and the suburbs, Peggy and Michael Glickman ensure the best outcomes for their clients. As Glickman Residential with @Properties Christie’s International Real Estate, the mother-and-son team of real estate brokers offers a full- service experience, tirelessly catering to every customer’s unique needs and forging lifelong relationships. “I’ve been fortunate enough to have many customers come to me from that first purchase to their second, third and even fourth homes over the course of my 30-year career,” Peggy Glickman says.

As an industry veteran, Peggy ranks among the North Shore-Barrington Association of Realtors’ top 5% in sales volume and is a recipient of the International President’s Circle Award and the @properties Road to Rolex award. For seven years, she has been named a Chicago Magazine Five Star Professional.

A resident of Highland Park since her family immigrated from Italy in 1966, Peggy specializes in the suburban market while Michael manages city clients. “Glickman Residential has the bandwidth to support a client selling in the city and moving to the suburbs,” explains Michael. “They don’t have to worry about finding two different agents. We’re a one-stop shop.”

Earning his license five years ago and working part-time as a broker while continuing his full-time career as a special education teacher at Chicago International Charter School Bucktown, Michael transitioned to real estate full-time in 2022. “Being a young agent during COVID meant learning on the job during the most complex time in real estate,” he says, explaining how the challenge combined with his mother’s tutelage expedited his development.

Peggy notes that he’s equally beneficial to her career as he helped her achieve her most-successful year to date. Together, they have a 90 percent referral-based business and maintain a vast network of inspectors, lawyers, lenders and tradespeople to handle whatever their clients may need. They also prioritize fostering relationships with other agents who can keep them abreast of the market’s latest offerings. “It’s these connections that lead us to listings and finding the best homes possible for our clients,” says Peggy.
