Each day, Majbrith Lykke Brody gets to do what she absolutely loves doing: selling real estate.

A broker with Baird & Warner in Libertyville, she has been assisting buyers, sellers and investors, from first-time to luxury in Lake County and Chicago for the past seven years. A resident of Lake County for more than a decade, she loves sharing with clients everything it has to offer.

Brody has moved a lot in her lifetime and knows that while it can be stressful, it’s also incredibly exciting and rewarding. With 2022 sales of over $12 million, she recently made Baird & Warner’s Founder’s Club.

“I truly care about my clients and finding the right home for them, or making sure that their home sale makes them the most money and goes as smoothly as possible,” she says. “I take a personal interest in all my clients – they are not “just another transaction” for me.” She tries to cater to each individual’s needs, so they feel taken care of and know from day one that they can trust her.

“I like to hone-in on my client’s expectations and needs first and foremost, and then develop a plan that works best for them,” she says.

Prior to real estate, Brody worked in finance for the world’s largest shipping company, specifically with investments in Marine Terminals. “It helped me understand and calculate what can be profitable and what is not when it comes to investments,” she explains. “I pay tremendous attention to detail and am comfortable talking clients through the financial part of their real estate transactions.”

She volunteers and donates to local causes when she can, especially those that help individuals with special needs. The oldest of her two teenage daughters has moderate Autism. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening.
