Bhuvana Nair, Broker

Baird & Warner

“If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” For as long as she can remember, Bhuvana Nair has been hardwired to serve others. She lives by the philosophy that “service to humanity is service to God.” For the past 11 years, she’s helped a wide variety of clients find the perfect residential, commercial or investment property in her primary market of the western suburbs. With over $10 million in sales, she’s the top producer in her Plainfield office, earning membership in Baird & Warner’s Founder’s Club that recognizes the company’s top 1 percent of agents.

She’s also a tough negotiator. “I help buyers at every level, from first-time buyers to empty nesters. I assist sellers by aggressively marketing their property and enabling them to get top dollar for their property,” she explains.

Coming from a social work background, Nair found it easy to transition to a career in real estate, as it allows her to continue helping others. She believes that her exceptional time management, communication and organizational skills have been valuable tools for building a successful business. Having numerous resources at her fingertips also helps ensure that the transaction process is seamless for her clients. “My client’s satisfaction is my utmost priority,” she says.

Experience has also taught Nair the importance of being patient and flexible when working with clients who are juggling busy schedules of their own. Clients repeatedly comment on her kindness, honesty, tireless dedication and attention to detail. These traits, along with her ability to empathize with her clients, make working with Nair memorable. She “puts her soul into the work,” they say. That’s why the majority of her referrals come from previous clients as well as friends. “My past clients are my biggest cheerleaders,” Nair says. “They are deeply touched by my passion to serve. Going the extra mile to assist them has propelled them to refer me to their friends.”

Bhuvana is a grand sponsor of SAKHI, a women empowerment non-profit group, and supports various community organizations. In her off-hours, Nair loves giving back to her community, and she volunteers at a local nursing home, Feed My Starving Children, and ISKON (International Society of Krishna Consciousness).
