Real estate is in Keith McMahon’s blood. He’s always been interested in the industry, following in the footsteps of his mother and uncle. The Keith McMahon Team at COMPASS specializes in the western suburbs, assisting buyers and sellers.

Led by McMahon, a 13-year veteran of the industry, the team also consists of Nick Gershon, Tyler Bockholdt and the most-recent addition, Abraham Mendez. Last year, they closed over $30 million and they have a goal to top that in 2023.

They pride themselves on in-depth market knowledge in multiple western suburbs. When McMahon graduated from DePaul University in 2009, he was on the acquisitions team at a real estate investment firm. The extensive research skills he learned at that job are still in use today, and he has passed these skills on to the entire team. “People are putting an incredible amount of trust into us on each transaction,” McMahon explains. “We deliver nothing but the best.” Clients also value McMahon’s availability. “Our team works seven days a week, and we pride ourselves on always being available for our customers,” he says. “Customers have many options when choosing an agent, and we greatly appreciate the opportunity to work with our customers. We want them to know that when they choose us, we will work on their schedule. Whichever day and time are most convenient for them is just fine with us.”

McMahon says it best when describing his team’s priorities: “Our motto is, ‘Relationships over transactions.’ We present all the information to clients and never pressure them into making a decision they aren’t comfortable with. We always act in the best interest of the client. We want to earn our clients’ trust over the lifetime of our career. Trust is worth so much more in the way of referrals and repeat business. Pressuring someone to do something they’re not comfortable with just to earn a quick buck is no way to build a brand.”
