Danielle Wylie, Real Estate Broker

Baird & Warner

When a family moves from the city to the suburbs, it represents a new chapter in their lives. For Danielle Wylie, her move was also the impetus for a career change into real estate. Frustrated by the home-search process while trying to relocate from the city to the North Shore with her husband and three children, Wylie, a former special education teacher, decided to get her real estate license to better understand the process and help her own family make the move. She found a new passion along the way.

Since 2013, Wylie has been living and working on the North Shore at Baird & Warner Winnetka, excited to assist others in the transition from urban to suburban living. “My clients love that I know the North Shore like the back of my hand,” she says. “They value my negotiation skills, problem-solving abilities and my role in reducing their stress during the homebuying/selling process.”

Her deep knowledge of the area allows Wylie to help buyers find not only the right home, but also the right neighborhood. “The North Shore offers a rich lifestyle beyond each unique property,” she says. “By offering a clear and vivid depiction of the unique lifestyle potential in each North Shore community, I aim to ensure my clients find the perfect fit for their needs.”

Having renovated several homes herself, Wylie helps buyers envision a home’s potential and assists sellers in making appealing updates. “This hands-on involvement has given me a comprehensive understanding of various renovation projects, ranging from minor updates like refreshing a powder room or kitchen to major undertakings such as building additions,” she shares.

In 2022, Wylie had her most successful year, selling more than $12.5 million and earning a place among the top 5% of agents by production, according to the North Shore-Barrington Association of Realtors. Baird & Warner named her to the Founder’s Club.

Wylie is involved in several organizations dedicated to helping with hunger, homelessness services for the elderly and more. She enjoys traveling and recently started playing pickleball.
