Lori Rowe, Real Estate Broker

Coldwell Banker Realty

In the last few years, Lori Rowe has received referrals from agents across the country and from former Chicago-area brokers who have left the business. For the broker of almost 40 years, that recognition is the highest compliment. She explains, “They call and say, ‘I remember you from way back when and know you will get the job done.’ What more can you ask for?”

A Chicago native and former elementary-school teacher, Rowe lived in California for a time before joining the real estate industry when she and her family returned to Chicago. They settled in the northwest suburbs, which remains her market today.

Her depth and breadth of experience allow Rowe to approach problem solving creatively and resourcefully for her clients, a quality she also instills in her team. “It is impossible to know everything,” she says, “but I know how to find answers and how not to let something spin out of control due to lack of knowledge or hot tempers.” She enjoys using her teaching skills to coach her team members as they follow her lead to act with integrity and professionalism.

Over the years, Rowe has developed a confident, collaborative approach that benefits clients and fellow agents alike. “This is a relationship business. Everything we do needs to be collaborative. That is what provides a solid foundation in a transaction. I am generous with my knowledge, referrals, time and experience. Clients and other brokers remember that.”

Rowe has been a Certified Relocation Specialist since 1987. She enjoys the challenge of introducing a complete stranger to the market in a matter of just a few days or a few hours, figuring out what they want, and then making it happen.

An avid reader and tennis player in her spare time, Rowe is also active with several local nonprofits. She serves on the board of CB Cares, which supports housing charities, and Parker Players Theater Company, for which she is currently raising funds to open a new location in Barrington.
