To Tami Leviton’s clients, she’s not just their Realtor, she’s their advocate and resource for everything they need before, during and after their transaction.

Leviton, an award-winning broker with @properties, was destined for a career in real estate. She gained her first industry experience while working summers in her dad’s real estate office in New Jersey. She was amazed by how helping someone find the perfect house could bring such happiness, and that it was all about the relationships you foster.

With 18 years of experience in the industry, Leviton knows how to navigate all types of markets. “I’m proactive rather than reactive,” she explains. “My percentage of list to sell price is higher than the average.” This past year, she averaged 102%.

In this difficult market of low inventory, she finds creative ways to locate properties to show clients. Whether she’s sending letters to homeowners in a certain area to see if they’re interested in selling or going the extra mile to find that special home before it hits the market, she does whatever it takes to achieve each client’s goals.

In addition to her tireless work ethic, Leviton knows the North Shore territory inside and out. She grew up in New Jersey but moved to the Chicago area 40 years ago. She raised two sons in Deerfield and continues to live there.

Before entering real estate, she owned a clothing store in Highland Park and taught preschool. She realizes both jobs prepared her, in different ways, for this career. She still loves educating people of all ages and believes selling clothes elicits the same emotional response in people as it does when they buy houses — the price tag is just higher.
