Marlene Rubenstein & Dena Fox

Rubenstein Fox Team, Baird & Warner

As co-owners and partners of the Rubenstein Fox Team at Baird & Warner, Marlene Rubenstein and Dena Fox are in the business of building relationships. “Relationships prevail,” says Rubenstein, speaking of her success with clients. “They enrich our lives as we strive to enrich theirs.” Fox adds, “This is a relationship and community business, and more often than not, our relationships with other agents and our communities is what gets a deal together and keeps it together. “

Rubenstein, a first-generation American and the daughter of Holocaust survivors, says she was first exposed to the real estate industry at an early age. Her father was an electrician and a builder, and she would assist him with renting and selling multi-unit properties in Chicago and Evanston. The tools she learned during this time, as well as throughout her careers in retail management, sales training and public relations, set the foundation for the success of the Rubenstein Fox team.

Rubenstein credits her partner and daughter, Dena Fox, as her “better half” in the real estate business. After graduating with a finance degree, Fox realized she had a passion for real estate like her mother. “She represents the essence of today’s buyer,” Rubenstein says. “I have learned so much about her generation. To deliver top results, we must understand the market, the trends and how this generation of buyers thinks.”

Fox adds, “We effectively combine our strengths to maximize smart options for our clients, especially in challenging market conditions. By using relevant, accurate data wisely, our team supports our clients when they buy AND when they sell.”

Rubenstein and Fox share the philosophy that relationships are the most important part of the business. They’ve cultivated these relationships with clients, colleagues, and contemporaries throughout Chicagoland and in their newer offices on both coasts of South Florida. They energize their peers and clients with their spirit, passion and genuine goodwill.

Strong advocates of philanthropy, Rubenstein and Fox give back to the communities they serve by supporting Housing Opportunities for Women, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois.
