The best Realtors usually have a few core values that show in their work – patience, great communication and a high degree of organization, for example. After nearly 20 years in the business, Mary Beirne,a broker with Dream Town Real Estate, says these factors have certainly helped her achieve her success.
“I am truly concerned with my clients’ having a good experience,” Beirne says, noting that they often comment on her down-to-earth nature and how easy it is to talk to her. “If there’s a problem, I will try to handle it or provide direction for them. My goal is that they have no worries during the process.” Beirne’s service has helped net her countless awards, including six years of recognition as a Five Star Real Estate Agent in Chicago magazine, the peer-voted Koenig & Strey Award and a Top Producer designation from Dream Town Realty for two years running. With past experience as a firm administrator of a CPA firm in the financial industry, she knows exactly how important organization is for her clients.
“I am pretty thorough and ‘by the book’ when it comes to preparing my clients for this process,” Beirne notes. “I do a lot of analysis before we present or negotiate offers.” This analysis is also communicated openly to clients, especially when it comes to what to expect, what the market looks like, multiple-offer situations and other high-stress factors.
In fact, Beirne has been told she makes clients feel at ease when they are going through a stressful process. “Many of my clients are repeat clients, friends, family or professionals I’ve worked with,” she shares, “and I’m proud of that fact.” A strong and active voice and volunteer in her community, Beirne pours her lifelong love of Chicago into everything she does.
“I realize that this is one of my clients’ most important transactions,” Beirne remarks. “I want them to be relaxed, confident and satisfied.
