Composed of home lending officers Hari Krishnan and Eric Marley, along with Illinois Senior Area Lending Manager Mike Fauth, the team achieves this goal by treating each client like family. “I am truly lucky to be working with the people we have behind the scenes,” says Marley. “They are the secret sauce.”
Marley entered the industry at the suggestion of a family friend who explained that success in this industry is simple if you can build solid relationships and develop trust with your clients. “Achieving the American Dream is a journey most people travel more than once in their lifetimes, and if you can provide service and expertise that’s memorable, long-term success is likely,” says Marley. “When I put all of those elements together, my curiosity was piqued — and 13 years later I can say that becoming a loan officer is one of the best decisions I have ever made.”
Krishnan, who started his career as an analyst in the real estate department at Washington Mutual, became interested in lending when he noticed the sense of satisfaction felt by lenders after they helped clients achieve their goals. “That feeling is second to none, and it drew me to lending,” says Krishnan. Incredibly hands-on, Krishnan is always available to answer clients’ questions. “I love the real estate industry, and I am always inspired to do more.”
From a young age, Fauth knew he wanted to work in the financial services industry because he wanted to follow the same path as his successful uncle. “Mortgage lending appealed to me because of the flexibility and creativity the business provides,” says Fauth, noting that as with most industries, real estate and lending are rapidly transforming. “We hold ourselves accountable from application to closing. Our clients trust us and expect us to bring value and provide a consistent client experience.”
